In a renovated course and new area for teams, Ponte de Lima is getting ready to host the 2022 ICF Canoe marathon Worlds in late September and first days of October.

The Portuguese Canoe Federation, together with the local city hall and nautical club of Ponte de Lima are working hard since last year to prepare the venue to recieve more than 30 countries and around 700 paddlers including Masters and for the first time paracanoe,as an exibition race.
