With one update to 18 countries, the provisional start list for the incoming world cup in canoe marathon is now available at canoemarathonportugal.com.

This is going to be a massive race with a total of 20 races, between short and normal distance events. More than 400 paddlers , including European and world champions will compete next weekend in Viana do Castelo, for a prize money of 15.000 euros. 

The biggest start, K1 Junior Men in normal distance is set for 80 boats, something never seen in a world cup or world Championships event. This is going to be some serious racing in Lima River next weekend.

This event includes not only the ICF Canoe Marathon world cup but also the Portuguese national cup 2018 as well as Masters International event.
