The Village of Prado hosted today the first day of the 2013 European Masters Cup, in K1 and C1 for different age categories.

The first day of competition at Prado was a success, with many paddlers from all over the Europe testing the course that will host in two days the 2013 edition of ECA Canoe Marathon European Championship.

The man of the day was Rafael Carril from Spain, that took the fastest time, with 01:37:56.89 to complete the 5 laps and  21.5 km. Rafael even(40-44) beated  the Danish Rene Holsen that wow the younger category(35-39).

Tomorrow we are back with the Masters Cup for the races in K2 and C2, starting at 11:00. 

Meanwhile it will be the start of   ECA Canoe Marathon European Championship, with the Team leaders Meeting at 14:00 and the opening ceremony at 17:00.
