The Organizing Committee of the 2025 ECA Canoe Marathon Masters European Championships has released the official timetable and provisional start list for next week’s event in Ponte de Lima.

More than 300 athletes, ranging in age from 35 to over 80, will represent 17 countries in this prestigious international competition.

Racing begins on Monday with the K1 and C1 single events, while Tuesday will feature the doubles events in K2 and C2. The K2 categories will include men’s, women’s, and mixed crews, divided into 10-year age groups. The K1 and C1 races will be organized into 5-year age brackets, allowing for fair and competitive racing across all age categories.

Athletes will compete on the same course that will be used for the Elite European Championships, which begin just 48 hours after the conclusion of the Masters races.
